Founder’s Message
Unlocking the
Power of Algae
How diverse are the algae that exist around us?
Although I have been engaged in fundamental research on algae for nearly 20 years, this question has not yet been fully answered.
Our company conducts research based on the perspectives cultivated through fundamental studies, aiming to deepen our understanding of the physiological responses of algae. Based on this knowledge, we are working to develop mass cultivation technologies for promising algal species that can meet the needs of society.
By skillfully unlocking the potential hidden within diverse algae, we aim to transform these possibilities into practical solutions that contribute to the advancement of society.

Our Business

Research and development, manufacturing, and sales of fucoxanthin
We provide high-quality fucoxanthin ingredients using low-cost mass production technology.
Fucoxanthin, a pigment found in certain seaweeds and microalgae, is a functional compound expected to have excellent pharmacological effects, including anti-obesity properties.
We utilizes the technology of a unique algal strain discovered by Associate Professor Yu Hirose of Toyohashi University of Technology. This technology overcomes conventional challenges such as low fucoxanthin content and the high cost of cultivation.
We aim to establish a low-cost, large-scale production system for fucoxanthin and develop and supply related raw materials and products.

Development of Algae-Derived Feed and Biofuels
Creating next-generation bioresources to support a sustainable society
Our proprietary algae strains are promising not only as a source of fucoxanthin but also as high-nutritional-value feed and raw materials for biofuels.
Through the development and utilization of these bioresources, we aim to reduce environmental impact and contribute to a sustainable, circular society.

Algae Biotechnology Support Services
Providing specialized expertise as a partner in algae research
Leveraging the know-how we have accumulated through our research activities, we provide the following services:
Exploration and identification of new algae species
Analysis of genes, metabolites, and pigments
Technical guidance for algae cultivation
Support for industrial application and commercialization
Building on our experience in projects adopted under the “Knowledge Hub Aichi” Project, we also promote collaboration with agricultural businesses in Aichi Prefecture.
